oso oso: basking in the glow [Triple Crown]
Basking in the Glow is the third album from oso oso, the recording project of Long Island’s Jade Lillitri. It follows 2017’s the yunahon mixtape. In his review of basking in the glow, named Best New Music, Ian Cohen writes, “the music is relentless, almost ruthless in its melodic radiance, both a testament to the power of positive thinking and a poignant reminder of its limitations.”

Young Thug: So Much Fun [300 Entertainment/Atlantic]
So Much Fun is Young Thug’s first solo project since 2017’s Beautiful Thugger Girls. The record, however, is still filled with guests: Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Future, NAV, Lil Baby, Migos’ Quavo, and more appear on the album. So Much Fun also includes the single “The London,” featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott.

Blanck Mass: Animated Violence Mild [Sacred Bones]
Fuck Buttons’ Benjamin John Power is back with another album as Blanck Mass. Animated Violence Mild follows 2017’s World Eater. “I believe that many of us have willfully allowed our survival instinct to become engulfed by the snake we birthed,” Power said in a statement. “Animated—brought to life by humankind. Violent—insurmountable and wild beyond our control. Mild—delicious.” Watch the music video for “Love Is a Parasite.”

Channel Tres: Black Moses EP [Godmode]
