Katrina Law is heading from the dark and dreary Star City to a warmer, more tropical climate. The Arrow actress is joining Hawaii Five-0 as a regular for Season 10 of the long-running CBS series.

According to TVLine, which first broke the news, Law will play Quinn Liu, “a former Staff Sergeant with Army CID who was recently demoted for insubordination. After an explosive collision with Five-0 during a case involving veterans, Quinn becomes a loyal ally to the team. Sharp-tongued in several languages, she has a deep understanding of military culture, a mysterious past, and a deft ability to match wits with McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin).”

“We are thrilled to have Katrina join the [cast],” said showrunner Peter M. Lenkov, per TVLine. “She dazzles as Quinn, the team’s newest recruit, and viewers are going to love seeing how she first encounters McGarrett and Danny (Scott Caan). If you know the show well, you’ll be feeling some déjà vu.”

Law has played the sometimes-friend, sometimes-foe Nyssa al Ghul on Arrow (and Legends of Tomorrow) since 2014, most recently appearing in an episode this past spring. She also currently stars on Crackle’s The Oath and Facebook Watch’s Sacred Lies.

Hawaii Five-0 Season 10 premieres Friday, Sept. 27 at 8/7c on CBS.

(Disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS Interactive, a division of CBS Corporation.)
