Wire Releases Trailer for New Documentary People In A Film: Watch

English rock band Wire have announced the production of their first authorized documentary, People in a Film. Watch the trailer for the film below.

Production has begun at Wales’ Rockfield Studios, capturing the band as it records its forthcoming LP. Footage includes interviews with Colin Newman, Graham Lewis, Robert Grey, Matthew Simms and Bruce Gilbert, and a reunion of Wire‘s original line-up. Malcolm Boyle and Graham Duff have signed on to direct and write the film, respectively.

The band is crowdsourcing funds to complete the production, and has released a promotional trailer to promote the project.
