Fandango is reporting that the Amazon Prime Early Access screenings for the film have become the ticket retailer’s best first-day advance ticket seller of 2025, outselling all other movies’ general first-day ticket sales year to date including Disney/Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: First Steps. By the way, these are tickets that Amazon Prime members paid for — they aren’t free.
Prime early-access tickets are available exclusively through Fandango. Early screenings for Superman will take place in select theaters July 8 at 7 p.m. local time, three days before the film’s nationwide release July in theaters and Imax.

Those polled also named star Nicholas Hoult’s role as Lex Luthor as one of the most anticipated new performances of 2025, in Fandango’s Most Anticipated Movies survey of more than 9,000 ticket buyers.

The best opening of 2025 belongs to another Warner Bros movie, the Legendary co-production of A Minecraft Movie with $162.7M.
