Rian Treanor Announces Obstacle Scattering EP, Shares New Track: Listen

Rian Treanor, the UK producer who released File Under UK Metaplasm a few months back, has announced a new EP. Obstacle Scattering is out February 19 via Planet Mu. Check out track three, titled “Obstacle 3,” below.

The record’s four tracks, all titled Obstacle, play with “the idea of sound being an obstacle that you have to get your body around,” Treanor says in a press release. The EP continues its predecessor’s cross-genre explorations—combining singeli, UK rave, and other styles—as well as influences including the Yorkshire duo snd, one half of which is Treanor’s father Mark Fell.
